Job Title: Sr AccountantJob DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Sr Accountant to perform general accounting duties and act as a pivotal support to our accounting department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role as a Sr member, guiding four junior accountants under the leadership of the department head.Hard Skills• 3-5 years of accounting experience• Proficient in month-end processes including journal entries, and bank, credit, and account reconciliations• Experienced in financial reporting such as profitability analysis, inventory reconciliation reporting, and budget to actual variance analysis• Strong skills in Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and index matchSoft Skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to work effectively in a team and guide junior staff• Excellent time management and organizational skillsJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Deer Park, New York.Work EnvironmentJoin a family-oriented, small company atmosphere that values each team member.
