Position SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Buyer Planner to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with internship experience in supply chain management or procurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing raw materials and forecasting demand to ensure efficient operations and supply continuity.Essential Job Functions• Purchase raw materials based on production needs and demand forecasts.• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.• Maintain accurate inventory levels and monitor stock to prevent shortages or excess.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.• Utilize forecasting tools and software to predict material requirements.• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and market conditions.• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain processes.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.• Internship experience in supply chain management, procurement, or related areas is preferred.• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.About Aston CarterAston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
