Job Title: Senior Manager - Provider Relations

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Provider Relations Manager responsible for field and office activities in providing education and supporting the IPA’s providers network. The Provider Relations Manager will be working with contracted providers on managed care operations and to comply with IPA and Health Plan standards.

- Experienced in healthcare, provider engagement, Medicare, Commercial and Medi-Cal managed care systems

- Possess strong organizational skills, plans daily activities, and demonstrate initiative with minimal supervision to complete projects

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong priority management, work independently, effectively manage time and resources
What You’ll Do:
- Routine visits to providers in assigned territory to develop a trusted relationship and maintain open lines of communication between AstranaCare Texas and providers
- Conduct provider onboarding, orientation, and ongoing educational training throughout the year to ensure providers remain compliant with state, federal regulations and company policies and procedures
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Provider Relations Specialists to ensure effective support of healthcare providers
- Set performance goals and track KPIs to provide coaching and development opportunities for direct reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure provider inquiries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
- Develop and implement strategies for retention, growth, and marketing within assigned territories
- Detailed reporting of provider visits, inquiries, trainings, and growth opportunities
- Must be able to problem solve and identify ways to address provider issues timely and effectively
- Must be able to travel frequently to assigned service area.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
- 5+ years experience in provider network scope of services
- Strong understanding of Managed Care Operations
- Minimum of 5 years' customer service, provider services or relevant work experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work in the field, in office, and at home on a weekly basis.
- This position is a field representative position and requires traveling depending on assignments or projects. This could be 2-3 times per week, and also requires monthly visits to provider offices.
- Occasionally required to work overtime and /or during the weekend
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 annually. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
