Job Description:Overall Summary:We are seeking a dynamic communications and Public Relations (PR) specialist with a focus on employee engagement and storytelling, workplace culture, talent recruitment, and learning & development initiatives. This management role is responsible for internal and external communications support for programs instrumental in shaping and sharing our workforce narratives. This includes highlighting the people, culture, and programs that make AT&T a great place to work, grow, and develop skills. This role is within the Corporate Communications business unit.Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze and provide communications counsel relating to the development and execution of tactical communications and PR plans. Generate awareness and drive storytelling of our people, programs, and recruitment initiatives that position AT&T as a great place to work, grow, and develop skills.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute communications plans, strategies, and tactics related to AT&T's employer brand, including elevating employee/program stories, talent attraction, and learning & development initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and communicate the company's people, events, and program/initiatives effectively, including creating content and managing media relations. Offer strategic guidance, monitor the effectiveness of communications tactics, and adjust plans as necessary to improve reach and impact.Build and maintain relationships with local, national, and industry-specific media outlets to ensure positive and consistent coverage.Create clear messaging for senior executives and advise on program communications, media interviews, and speaking engagements.Required Skills:Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to understand an empathize with different employee perspectives.Proven ability to work cross-functionally, building relationships across all levels of the organization.Strong media relations skills with experience working effectively with top reporters.Deep understanding of industry and media trends, and the importance of a strong employer brand on workplace culture, retention, recruitment, and productivity.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in arts or science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Typically, 5-8 years of experience in a related field.Supervisory: No.This role offers a unique chance to influence the narrative around our workforce and highlight what makes AT&T a great place to work.
