Position Summary:
The Director of Individual Giving and Development Operations is a dynamic and results-oriented leader who will play a crucial role in driving the organization's financial sustainability and operational excellence. This position requires a unique blend of fundraising expertise, strategic thinking, process management skills, and exceptional relationship management abilities. The ideal candidate will be a highly effective communicator with a proven track record in project management, cultivation of relationships and managing development operations. In this role, the director will develop, implement and oversee a comprehensive fundraising plan with the goal of expanding philanthropic support for the organization. This includes identifying and strengthening relationships with community stakeholders, actively pursuing and managing corporate and individual donors, fostering strong donor and sponsor relationships, and seeking, applying for and managing grant funding. is responsible for leading, designing, and implementing a donor-centric strategy to increase annual and multi-year revenue from corporate, foundation and government principally through grants & endowments. Additionally, this position involves planning and executing our client’s cultivation and fundraising events.
