Founding Security Lead

Summary of the Role:

As our Founding Security Lead you'll play a hybrid role contributing across security, product, research, and go to market. This is a unique opportunity to join as one of the first employees of a well-funded security startup building a product at the intersection of Generative AI and security. You'll lead all things security for the company as well as being heavily involved with product development, security research, and more.

Your Contributions to Our Journey:

• Build The Security Function: Create the security function from the ground up.

• Shape The Product: Work closely with founders, engineers, AI researchers to define and build an innovative new security product.

• Conduct Research: Continuously analyze the output of our AI models, creating feedback loops that improve the product and customer experience.

• Develop the Brand: Write blogs, talk at events, and join the occasional customer call.

What You Need to Be Successful:

• Security Expertise: 7+ years of experience in security, ideally at scaled companies (500+ employees).

• Product Sense: You have strong opinions about security products and may have contributed to product development in the past.

• Cloud and DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

• Agility and Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with the ability to pivot and adapt as needed.
