Bachelor/ Master Thesis: Methane leak localization from ambient data (f/m/x)

• Research the feasibility of pin pointing methane leaks based on ambient data gathered over time within the surroundings
• Evaluate the influence of factors such as indoors vs outdoors, wind direction, gas dispensation etc.
• Propose a system that accurately locates methane leaks
• Use any tools at your disposal from classical data analytics to AI models
• Implement a prove of concept of the system and put it to the test at one of our customer’s sites
• Find actual methane leaks with your solution and make a your personal contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions

Skills & experience you will need 💪

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Software engineering, Environmental engineering, Measurement technology or a related field
• Experience in data analysis & software development
• At least one previous experience in a high-paced startup environment
• Given only high level requirements, able to plan and work autonomously while staying strongly aligned with your team
