For over 40 years, Atrium Health has participated in offering administrative fellowships.
The Atrium Health Fellowship is focused on health system operations. Our system-based program provides a robust experience of challenging work in critical areas across Atrium Health that will support the growth and development of the fellows as they begin a career in healthcare leadership and administration.
The Atrium Health Administrative Fellowship provides post-graduate students with an opportunity to gain first-hand experience and a rich understanding of our dynamic, integrated healthcare system. As part of this year-long program, each fellow will be responsible for leading a system-wide project that is anchored in our Atrium Health strategic priorities, impacts the care continuum, and helps advance our vision of being the first and best choice for care, as well as our mission to improve health, elevate hope and advance healing – FOR ALL. Our fellowship program’s priority is the projects that focus on disciplines to include: operations, strategy, finance, quality, and other areas that impact the needs of our organization; our second priority is the immediate needs and opportunities available for the fellows to participate in a variety of other initiatives, shadowing, and participation in the shared services immersion program, as determined by the preceptor and fellow, to learn, grow and contribute to the organization and industry at large. Each fellow will have a primary location and preceptor as well as a secondary set of experiences across the Atrium Health enterprise including:
The Atrium Health Administrative Fellowship is open to candidates receiving a Master’s level degree between June 1, 2023 and June 1, 2024 from a nationally accredited program and institution of higher learning.
