Our client is an established flavor and fragrance company looking for a QC Lab Tech to join their team on the 3rd shift.Salary/Hourly Rate$22/hr – $27/hr Depending on experiencePosition OverviewThe QC Lab Tech will work on the 3rd shift performing analytical and physical tests on finished products, raw materials, and ingredients. They will perform testing on products including pH, titrations, turbidity, and color tests.Responsibilities Of The QC Lab Tech• Operate lab instruments like GC and UV-Vis spectrometer.• Conduct sensory evaluations on products.• Operate other basic lab equipment and instruments.• Identify any non-conformances and report to the appropriate supervisor• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment.• The QC Lab Tech will maintain accurate test results in the company’s system.• Follow all company, GMP, HACCP, FDA, and OSHA guidelines.Qualifications For The QC Lab Tech• Knowledge of basic chemistry lab equipment.• Able to work well independently and in a team environment.• Able to work on the 3rd shift (11 pm – 7:30 am).• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.• Previous GC experience is preferred for the QC Lab Tech.• Experience with SAP is preferred.Education Requirements• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science, or equivalent work experience.Benefits• Medical, dental, and vision insurance.• Paid time off.• 401k and more.As a woman-owned firm, we value diversity.
