Video Editor

AudioEye is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, capable of crafting compelling video content that engages and inspires our audience. This role will be able to identify the core message and visually bring it to life, moving quickly from concepting to executing. The Video Editor will be responsible for executing all post-production tasks for our videos, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with our brand standards and objectives.

This role demands a blend of creativity, technical prowess, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends. How you’ll Contribute: 

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for various platforms
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Implement feedback and revisions promptly to meet project deadlines
  • Help create/evolve video brand guidelines to help maintain brand consistency
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques
  • Create animations and motion graphics to enhance video content (if applicable)
  • Ensure videos meet accessibility standards
  • Storyboard video concepts when necessary
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Participate in key internal meetings including weekly status updates and planning sessions
  • Document ongoing project status and updates to relevant team members
  • Ensure all projects are complete, current, and stored/archived appropriately
  • Presenting work to internal teams

Who you are: 

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a video editor
  • Degree in film, broadcasting, or a related communications field or relevant video editing experience in lieu of degree
  • Proven experience as a video editor and motion designer, preferably with a corporate and/or advertising portfolio
  • Strong understanding of video editing principles and techniques
  • Experience with Mac, Final Cut Pro, Figma/FigJam, Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Spreadsheets, etc.), Asana, Confluence
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects are must
  • Proficiency in mixing audio for video, with a strong working knowledge of audio effects
  • Animation and motion graphics skills are required
  • Experience with color grading is required
  • Experience with Figma, Lottie, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Kapwing, Riverside, and Vimeo is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of self-managing tasks
  • Experience with accessibility standards is desirable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
