Audiology Technician I - Caruso Family Center for Childhood Communication

Performs complex and varied administrative assignments to support Audiology Clinicians. Assists in management of non-billable clinical tasks to help clinicians perform at top of license. Must have well developed skills to enhance patient experience and avoid delays in patient access to equipment – including non-direct patient care equipment management, preparation, and tracking. Reports to the Clinic manager. Must adopt Keck Service Credo and Known Service Standards and Values. Must be comfortable with computers and medical terminology.

The hourly rate range for this position is $19.00 - $29.77. Minimum Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • Some experience or education in hearing health care is a plus • Knowledge and ability to using a personal computer and various software including data entry, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook • Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers • Ability to communicate effectively Required License/Certification: • LA City Fire and Safety Certification. If no certification upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. • Audiology Aide Certification preferred; employee highly encouraged to apply after departmental orientation.
