What you’ll do:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist position provides a unique opportunity to engage with multiple aspects of financial operations in a dynamic, growth-stage startup. Focused on accounts receivable management, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting our finance team’s overall efficiency. This part-time role (approximately 15-20 hours per week) offers the potential to transition to full-time, with opportunities to take on additional financial operations responsibilities as our team expands.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update customer invoicing software to ensure accuracy in customer count and billing information.

  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients, verifying compliance with terms and ensuring accuracy.

  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments, managing collections effectively.

  • Process, track, and reconcile invoices and payments accurately in our systems to maintain up-to-date financial records

  • Generate weekly A/R aging reports and provide updates on follow-up actions.

  • Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies to maintain positive customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or financial administrative roles.

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and spreadsheets (google or excel).

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
