About the Role
The Senior Product Manager in this role will lead one of three teams dedicated to improving and expanding Aurora’s product for Commercial and Industrial solar design: HelioScope. Here they will develop and manage the strategy, definition, execution, and roll-out for one of the most significant updates to the product in years. In close collaboration with Design and Engineering, this person will deliver a more efficient and delightful end-to-end user experience while driving important advancements in solutions to the complex and nuanced problems surrounding solar designs including financial modeling, collaboration, report and proposal customization, partner integrations, user and permission management, and self-service subscription management. With this broad opportunity space, the ideal candidate will ruthlessly prioritize, control scope, and ground decisions in customer insights and business objectives.
Your Impact
Set the vision, strategy and product roadmap for your team
Prioritize solving problems that add customer value and deliver business results
Originate, collect, and synthesize product ideas from customers
Validate opportunities and mitigate risks upfront through qualitative and quantitative research
Discover the best solutions to customer problems using agile and lean product strategies and techniques
Partner with engineering to define scope, requirements and timeline for deliverables
Work collaboratively within your product team and with other teams to deliver valuable and delightful user experiences
Evangelize customer needs, problems and feedback throughout the organization
Develop metrics, systems, and processes to measure the effectiveness of the experiences and outcomes and continue to iterate until goals are met
What You Bring
Experienced product manager: 5+ years of product management experience working on web products (SaaS preferred) with a strong understanding of the roles of engineering, design, analytics, and user research in product development
Big thinker: must have strong product vision and business instincts
Proven leader: able to help a small team achieve goals out of their comfort zone and influence company leadership
Outcome oriented: articulates the desired outcome and works collaboratively to create a path to achieve it; proven ability to bring simplicity and measurable results to complex, ambiguous situations
Rigorous: asks hard questions, validates their assumptions, and makes sure product investments connect to and are proportional to the goal
Excellent communicator
Passionate about creating great consumer experiences for B2B
