Are you ready to be part of something big?The Employee Relations Manager will ensure fair, equitable, and consistent treatment of all employees while creating an engaged and safe work environment. The Employee Relations Manager collaborates with the HR Business Partners and other Key Stakeholders to advise leaders on matters of performance, conflict, conduct, and discipline.Job Responsibilities• Conducts complex investigations related to allegations of harassment, discrimination, wage & hour and policy violations.• Manage incoming compliance hotline questions/complaints that are escalated to the HR team, following through to resolution• Provide employee relations support to key internal stakeholders including, HR Business Partners, AutoNation’s Legal team, Managers and other business leaders• Work in close partnership with the Legal team to ensure the right balance of risk mitigation, engagement, and fairness is delivered.• Drive cultural adoption of employee relations models and skills through communication and training for managers and employees;• Stay updated on recent laws on relevant employment related laws including state requirements impacting employees (minimum wage, salary posting requirement, final pay requirements, etc.).• Tracks relevant employee data, metrics & trends to help inform process improvements and approaches.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations• Highly skilled in workplace investigations, negotiation, and conflict management.• Deep understanding of US employment law, EEO regulations, workplace anti-discrimination and accommodations related laws, including Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA and their state law equivalents• Able to maintain confidentiality, responsibility, integrity, and exercise extreme discretion.• Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situationsThe expected annual salary for this role is between $118,795.00 - $207,920.00, dependent upon each candidate’s unique experience and qualifications.Exciting Benefits And Perks Await You• Competitive compensation and 401k matching• Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with insurance plans (health, dental, vision) and maternity benefits• Exclusive RX Pet program offering discounts on medications• Associate purchase and discount programs for new and pre-owned vehicles, services, parts, collision, accessories, and AutoGear• Access amazing deals and discounts through YouDecide, a website with offers from top providers and retailers• Join our DRVPNK mission to raise and donate millions of dollars to cancer research and treatment, partnering with cancer charities nationwideAutoNation is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment in our workplace and the services we provide.
