This role will involve strategic planning and execution of data architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business needs.What you will do:• Manage and mentor the team by setting clear performance goals, conducting regular reviews, and fostering their professional growth and development• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data models, schemas, and storage solutions while ensuring the architecture is optimized for performance, scalability, and security• Develop and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and technical requirements while ensuring efficient data management, integration, and analytics• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration frameworks while ensuring that data engineering practices are efficient, reliable, and scalable• Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions while acting as a liaison between the Data Architect team and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance standards in data architecture and engineering practices while implementing and enforcing best practices for data quality, security, and privacy• Lead and manage data architecture projects to ensure timely delivery and quality standards while coordinating with project managers and other teams for successful execution• Stay updated with emerging data technologies and industry trends to evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies that enhance data architecture and engineering capabilities• What you will need:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field, required; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or related field• Minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role or ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills• Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data management platforms• Familiarity with data governance, security practices, and regulatory requirementsWhat Avant offers:• Medical/Dental/Vision• 15 Days PTO + 9 Paid Holidays + 1 Floating Holiday• Separate Charitable PTO days• 401K With Company Match• Life & Disability Insurance• Pet Insurance• Fitness Center on Site• Family Planning Support• Hybrid schedule after completion of the 120-day introductory periodPlease visit our corporate career site for further details on the job descriptionJob Type: Full-timePay: From $1.00 per yearEducation:• Bachelor's (Required)Experience:• Data Architecture: 5 years (Required)• Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)Ability to Commute:• Maitland, FL 32751 (Required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Maitland, FL 32751
