ABOUT YOU AND THE ROLE

Avantia Law is looking for a high performing and driven Graduate Sales Development Representative to support our Sales Directors in generating leads and expanding our client base. This is an opportunity for a graduate interested in developing a career in sales within Private Equity and Asset Management.

  • Prospecting through online outreach (e.g. LinkedIn) as well as cold calling to introduce our services to potential clients and set up meetings for the Sales Directors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Directors and other SDRs to develop and implement effective prospect target lists.
  • Assist in preparing sales materials and presentations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

WORK PATTERN

Full time/ Hybrid: 9am-6pm, Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be expected to work from our London Office (near Bankside/ London Bridge) approximately 3 days per week.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

We believe in a transparent and swift recruitment process. The below is what you should expect:

Stage 1: Submit your CV (& a covering letter if you would like to stand out!) for Talent team review

Stage 2: Screening call with a member of the Talent team to learn about you and your motivation for the role

Stage 3: Assessment centre (half day) with an opportunity to meet our wider Growth team, get to know Avantia and showcase your transferable skills.

Please note this role is for a 2024 start, we are unable to consider candidates who are still studying.

  • 2.1 or above bachelors degree in any discipline (although some interest in Law would be very handy, it is not a requirement)
  • Some work experience in a client or customer facing role. Experience making cold calls is highly desirable but not essential providing you are not afraid of the phone!
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with prospects, build relationships, and articulate the value proposition of our legal services.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders, including the Chief Commercial Officer, Sales Directors and lead lawyers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving start-up.
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems and sales tracking tools would be desirable.
