IT Engineer (Networking Experience)

Avint LLC is seeking a IT Engineer  to join our dynamic and mission-driven team supporting the public sector. Responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.

Network Design and Implementation:

1. Designing, planning, and implementing LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure. 

2. Configuring and installing Cisco network switches

3. Implementing network security measures

4. Ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards. 

Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

1. Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues. 

2. Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions. 

3. Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware upgrades.

4. Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates 

5. Documenting network configurations and procedures.

TS/SCI 

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BA in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
• Five years of experience in network administration       
• Five years of experience configuring Cisco switches Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates    
• Current CCNA Security + Cert

The salary range for this position is: $120,000-$150,000 depending on experience
