Avionics Technician (Entry Level)

Bell is seeking a Avionics Technician Entry Level to support our Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC) at our Piney Flats, TN facility.
Avionics repair and system installation
Installing avionics kits
Testing and maintaining electrical systems
Fabrication of custom sheet metal items
Installing wires and building wiring harnesses
Other duties as assigned
This position may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift depending on schedule requirements and commitments.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Additional training in electrical installations or wiring may be a plus
Skills / Certifications:
Familiarity with wiring schematics and electrical principles
Ability to read and understand installation instructions, maintenance manuals and blueprints
Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
Ability to purchase own tools required for the jobs assigned
Must work as a team member to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet schedule
Preferred:
Ability to fabricate wiring harnesses a plus
Previous experience in aviation electronics / related field, or similar work experience.
Sheetmetal knowledge a plus.
Physical requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as required.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
