WHAT WE DO IN PRODUCT OPERATIONS

In Product Operations, our mission is to enable the product and tech community to deliver value with an effective and recognized product culture, supported by optimised product development processes, best practices, ways of working, tools & training. We envision to become a best-in-class operational powerhouse that drives product excellence, fosters high speed innovation, and enables sustainable growth by defining efficient, scalable, and data-driven products and product iterations. The product operation team is distributed in 3 different countries (Germany, France, Belgium) allowing us to keep the pulse from the team and understand where they need support.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing and streamlining the digital product management delivery process within both B2B and B2C contexts. You will work closely with senior leadership, including Directors and C-Level executives, to drive continuous assessment, improvement, and harmonisation of product management practices across the organisation. This is a strategic role where you will focus on building efficient, scalable, and harmonised ways of working that empower product teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement & Optimization

    • Lead initiatives to improve the efficiency and consistency of the product management delivery guild across B2B and B2C environments.
    • D/Refine, document, and implement standardised product management frameworks and workflows to ensure clear accountability and repeatable success.
    • Continuously assess and enhance processes related to product delivery, decision-making, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring scalability and growth readiness.
    • Own the Product Operations roadmap, ensuring a long-term vision for scaling and improving product management capabilities.
  • Harmonise Ways of Working 

    • Lead initiatives to harmonise the ways of working across global product teams, ensuring that all processes are aligned with the company’s overarching strategy.
    • Introduce and refine tools, templates, and best practices to create a unified approach to product management in a multi-environment business model (B2B and B2C).
  • Continuous Assessment & Delivery Improvement

    • Lead efforts in continuous assessment and optimization of product delivery, including metrics, KPIs, and feedback loops that drive performance improvements.
    • Establish a culture of continuous improvement within the product management organisation, leveraging data and analytics to identify areas for optimization and innovation.
    • ​​​​​​​Ensure efficient discovery data resulting in high-quality initiatives to be prioritised in alignment with the company product roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Engage with Senior Directors and C-level executives to drive product operations strategies that align with company goals and customer expectations.
    • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and Operations teams to harmonise and streamline workflows, ensuring alignment on product goals and deliverables.
    • Facilitate cross-functional initiatives to improve roadmap prioritisation, capacity planning, and release management.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on operational excellence in product management, including insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making

    • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making within product teams, empowering and enabling them to incorporate insights and metrics into their processes.
    • Utilise data and analytics to improve decision-making and streamline product operations.
    • ​​​​​​​Establish and oversee KPIs to track the efficiency and success of product delivery and operations.
  • Training & Mentorship

    • Provide leadership and mentorship to product managers, driving operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Create and lead training programs for product management teams, enabling them to excel in their roles and align with operational goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Product Operations or a related field or consulting background with a strong background in both B2B and B2C digital environments.
  • Demonstrated success working with senior leadership (Directors and C-level executives) to influence and drive product management and operational improvements.
  • Proven track record of improving product management processes and delivering continuous improvement within fast-paced organisations.
  • Strong experience in product delivery frameworks, including Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Expertise in cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams to optimise workflows and align on business goals.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving process improvements and harmonising operational practices within the different domains.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and mentor product teams at all levels (fluency in English. German or French would be an advantage).
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience in scaling and/or transforming product operations in a growing organisation, particularly within the context of global or multi-market operations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in both B2B and B2C product environments.
  • Strong familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Productboard, or similar.
  • Ability to navigate complex international organisational structures and drive change across teams with diverse priorities.
