In support of our mission, we are seeking a data-driven Offline Advertising Manager to join our Growth Marketing team to own the strategy, management and execution across Away’s offline marketing channels. This role reports to the Senior Director of Acquisition Marketing and will require a weekly in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Own the channel-level strategy, execution, and tracking of offline performance channels (including but not limited to Linear/Streaming TV, Direct Mail, Out of Home, Audio, and new channel testing) to support brand, product, traffic, new customer acquisition and retention goals
Manage multi-million dollar offline media spend (forecasting, tracking daily/weekly pacing, etc.)
Drive creative strategy and testing roadmap in partnership with Brand and Creative teams, balancing brand storytelling with performance and channel best practices
Ensure measurement strategy, reliable tracking capabilities, and robust ROI reporting measures are in place for all marketing channels, fully leveraging our Martech tools
Develop and manage rigorous testing among the entire channel mix to identify, size, and pursue new opportunities for channel growth and optimization across customer segments and in support of broader Away strategic pillars
Partner with internal teams (e.g. Data, Brand, Creative, Merchandising, etc.), agency teams, and vendor teams to effectively drive all aspects of the channels you manage
Serve as the internal offline marketing expert to build up organizational competences by staying ahead of platform changes and best practices
Support the development of Away’s customer acquisition & engagement strategy by providing input into channel strategy, measurement, and MarTech roadmap, including future-thinking opportunities and testing
Minimum of 5 years of relevant performance marketing experience in a data-driven, high-growth environment
Proficiency in managing TV (streaming/linear) strategies, other offline or digital marketing channel experience highly beneficial
Experience managing multi-million dollar annual budgets
Proven track record of leading and executing successful and scalable direct response and branding programs across offline marketing channels
Have a rigorous approach to testing, iterating, and implementing learnings
Exceptional analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with a technical lean. Expert skillset in Excel, Web Analytics tools (e.g. GA, Amplitude), and Dashboarding platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
Superior leadership and collaboration skills, with high level of initiative and self-direction
Strong collaborator, with experience working cross-functionally among business stakeholders and technical teams to effectively drive action and impact
Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
Enjoy working and learning in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Away to fall healthily within the range based on these factors.
Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually
This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Annual Company Performance Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined on an annual basis at the discretion of the company
Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company
