We are hiring a Temporary Quality Inspector (4 week assignment) to join our 3PL QC team. This position reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor and takes Away further by ensuring the quality and accuracy of personalized and monogrammed products before they are shipped. This role will primarily involve QC inspection and outbound order verification within a busy warehouse environment in Easton, Pennsylvania.
You’ll inspect each product to ensure the quality of monograms and personalization meets company standards. Verify correct spellings, fonts, colors, and placement based on customer specifications
You’ll identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in personalization (e.g., misalignments, incorrect details, quality issues)
You’ll examine the product’s physical condition for any signs of damage or defects, such as scratches, chips, and improper assembly
You’ll follow quality control guidelines to approve or reject items based on established standards
You’ll ensure that products meet all quality, appearance, and durability requirements
You’ll verify that all items in each order match the details on the order list, including product type, quantity, and personalization specifics
You’ll confirm that packaging materials are appropriate and secure for each product type, to avoid damage during transit
You’ll verify that labels match the order information and that packaging is sealed and ready for shipment
You’ll maintain detailed records for rejected items and report recurring issues to the Warehouse Supervisor
You’ll collaborate with other QC inspectors, warehouse staff, and the Warehouse Supervisor to address any quality concerns promptly
You’ll provide feedback to the production team if patterns of quality issues emerge, helping to improve production and personalization processes
You have experience in Quality Control or Inspection (preferred)
This is a second shift position, and candidates must be available during the hours 3:30pm-12:00am EST
You’re able to detect minor inconsistencies and defects.
You’re able to document and communicate findings effectively
You must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs as required

Our total rewards are inclusive of both compensation and benefits. What we offer within a salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. Salary and benefit offerings are reviewed during phone screenings to ensure alignment.
Compensation: $24.50 hourly
This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Annual Company Performance Incentive Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined at the discretion of the company
Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company
