Software Architect

The Opportunity: You will lead the architecture efforts for our DoD customers to ensure future technology alignment across our software portfolio. Expect to work daily with Awetomaton technical (C-suite / project leads) and customer leadership (O-2 / GS-11 through O-6 / GS-15) to define a unified vision for hundreds of technical contributors. Your ability to excel in both rapid prototyping and distilling complex technology solutions for enterprise adoption will drive success of next generation critical intelligence systems.

What You'll Do:

Research, evaluate and create proof of concepts for intel processing and dissemination architectures
Document tooling and use cases associated with architecture designs
Train and mentor development teams on architectural best practices
Envision compelling solutions for competitive proposal writing

Must-haves in a Candidate:

Track record of excellent communication, organization, and decision-making
Demonstrated ability to educate and inspire others through group and individual mentorship
Passion for problem solving both technical and organizational challenges
Deep understanding of DevSecOps & Platform Engineering principles
Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Bachelor of Science with 10+ years of professional experience

Nice to Have in a Candidate:

Analytic or Data Science background with Overhead Persistent InfraRed systems.
Cloud (AWS / Azure) or Platform (Linux Academy K8s / etc.) certifications
Knowledge of Authority to Operate processes within US Government (NIST 800-53 / FEDRAMP)

Details:

Work is hybrid including corporate office and customer site. Regular meetings and conferences require access to government SCIF.
Role supports Work From Home flexibility though we ask for office presence during onboarding period.
Largely customer billable role with estimate of 20% time for business development activities.
