Clemens, MI Job #: 2024-6264 Salary: $25.00 Hourly Category: Inventory Control Shift: 1’st, 2’nd or 3’rd Shift Industry: Paint & Coatings (Chemicals) Manufacturing Important: Candidate must have a minimum 6 months experience driving Forklift or Hi Lo. Candidate must also have at least 3 years’ experience using SAP. Overview: The general purpose of the Supply Chain Assistant role is to serve as a SAP R3 Resource is to provide local support for the SAP R3 operating systems. This includes serving as a site resource, leading, and participating in error resolution, inventory management, data management, training and communication, and continuous improvement project work. Principal Responsibilities: • Serve as the site SAP R3 resource by answering questions and problem-solving issues pertaining to SAP R3 functionality and capability, including, but not limited to: Shop floor, Warehouse, Label Room, Inventory Management and Month End processing. • Interact and act as resource with all functions of the plant – Finance, Material Management, Purchasing, Planning, QM, CSR’s, Production and Warehouse. • Perform daily SAP transactions to assist the MFG and Warehousing areas. This will include inventory analysis prior to month end. • Respond to needs of the site. Be flexible to needs on, weekends, holidays, or as needed to manage production uptime. • Operate in independent fashion, be self-managed and contribute to a sound team environment, using his or her own experience, good judgment and maintaining confidentiality. • Conduct investigations that will require the SAP R3 Resources to investigate and rectify system errors. • Maintain, review and correct inventory discrepancies between SAP and Physical. • Troubleshoot and investigate SAP R3 errors. These errors include routine problems and complex investigations. The SAP R3 site resource will make a significant degree of judgment based on history and supporting data that have a financial impact to the business. • Managing inventory accuracy on the floor by monitoring floor inventories and making corrections to inventory due to errors and inaccuracies which have a financial impact to the business. • Assist in developing training materials, procedures and training manuals that pertain to the use of SAP R3 for production and other areas. Requirements: • B.S. Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration preferred. • ASCM (APICS) CPIM or CSCP certification preferred. • 3-5 years’ experience of SAP R3 or SAP HANA in either manufacturing or warehouse module • Quick Learner • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and take action to deliver improvement in cost, supply and/or elimination of NVA work. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas including manufacturing, SC, procurement, customer service to achieve shared goals. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities. • Business acumen • Integrity Our Company: Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
