Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SoC Verification Engineer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience to join our esteemed team. As a SoC Verification Engineer at Axelera AI, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our cutting-edge AI-driven solutions. Leveraging your expertise in C, SystemVerilog, and Python, you will spearhead the verification processes, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Location
We offer a flexible working arrangement, with the option to relocate near an Axelera AI office (currently in Eindhoven/NL, Bristol/UK, Florence/IT) or work remotely from any European country.
Responsibilities:
- Verification Architecture and Design:
Devise and execute verification strategies, architecting and implementing robust test benches and verification environments for complex System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
Define and develop verification plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of system requirements.
- Verification Execution and Analysis:
Execute functional and performance verification of SoC designs, including test plan development, test case creation, and results analysis.
Conduct in-depth analysis of verification results, identify discrepancies, debug failures, and drive resolutions.
- Collaboration and Integration:
Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to facilitate the seamless integration and verification of AI-driven solutions.
Participate in design reviews, providing verification insights and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Debugging and Optimization:
Investigate and resolve complex design issues, optimize verification methodologies, and propose enhancements for increased efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive verification documentation, reports, and metrics, documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the enhancement of verification methodologies, tools, and processes to elevate the overall verification efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of proven experience in System-on-Chip (SoC) verification in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in C, SystemVerilog, and Python for verification purposes.
- Familiarity with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM), firmware development, and experience in bring-up and validation processes.
Strong understanding of ASIC design flow and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to debug and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and conveying technical concepts effectively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
