FOIA Compliance Specialist

Axle Informatics is seeking a FOIA Compliance Specialist to join our team at the NIH. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of FOIA, excellent communication skills, and experience in governmental affairs.

Skills

Strong knowledge of FOIA and Privacy Act
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in policy briefs and writing

Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and evaluate data for FOIA requests
Write final response letters with no redactions
Independently process FOIA requests and redact documents
Draft memoranda for FOIA related decisions
Review appeals and make recommendations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in governmental affairs, public policy, or related field
