Axle, a bioscience and IT company, is looking for a Linux Administrator and Data Processor to support NIDA at NIH in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain scientific computer systems including hardware and operating systems
Design, develop, analyze, test, and modify computer systems and programs
Perform statistical analysis of experimental data
Provide performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization
Utilize data structure, data management, and various programming languages
Provide statistical support and software recommendations to staff
Develop methods for analyzing complex datasets and prepare research data for presentation and publication

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Administration Management and Security, Computer and Information Systems, Computer Programming and Data Processing, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biochemical Sciences, or Physics
