Director, Commercial Controller (Hybrid)

Axon is on a mission to Protect Life, seeking a Director of Commercial Controller to collaborate with sales teams and key business stakeholders to shape policy governance and drive accurate US GAAP accounting.

Skills

10+ years in accounting or FP&A.
Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
Experience in process transformations.
High proficiency in data analytics tools.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of a scalable commercial controllership process.
Serve as a strategic advisor to sales on financial modeling and accounting.
Conduct technical accounting research for new products.
Communicate accounting implications across various functions.
Maintain robust internal controls for financial accuracy.
Analyze KPIs and productivity metrics for operational improvements.
Manage ad hoc controllership projects.

Education

BS or equivalent degree in accounting or finance.
CPA required.
