Your Impact Axon Citizen enables law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and public defenders to securely receive evidence submissions from the community and manages that content within Axon's Digital Evidence Management System. As a Senior Product Manager for Axon Citizen, you will drive the development and management of core features of our product to ensure the success of our customers, communities, partners, and Axon's continued strategic transformation into a software product organization. We are looking for an experienced product manager with a track record of defining and executing complex software deliverables across multiple teams, job functions, and partner organizations. You will be responsible for delivering user research-based guidance to our engineering squads as they build out critical workflows for users of our system, and joining forces with Axon's strategic partners that are aligned with the mission to Protect Life by ensuring all evidence is accounted for and considered in the pursuit of justice. You will work collaboratively with product managers, product designers, engineers and our go-to-market teams to own the delivery of a high-quality, enterprise-ready system. As our program progresses, you'll be at the heart of capturing product feedback on the system as we deploy it to users around the world. You'll prioritize that feedback, plan updates, and ready the overall system for launch. What You'll Do Location: US Remote or Seattle, Washington Reports to: Director, Product Management, Axon Evidence Direct Reports: None, IC role Spend time with customers and partners to understand how their needs differ from each other and craft a vision for scaling our solution to the entire market. Define the software product vision, communicate to the cross-functional team, and evolve it based on interactions with customers and as the solution is developed. Partner with product design, user research, and engineering to make your vision a reality. Engage with a collaborative team of other product managers. Work with your own engineering team to balance scope, functionality, performance, and time to market. Creatively generate solutions to a wide range of technical, workflow, and business problems. Spend time with our users (remotely and in the field) to conduct VOC to inform the roadmap and ensure what we're building delivers value to the customer. Gather quantitative and qualitative data from market and end users. Make data driven decisions when possible and fall back on well supported intuition when data is not available. Problem solve within constraints that truly exist and break through constraints that don't actually exist. Operate with autonomy while proactively reducing ambiguity for your team and your cross-functional peers and partner organizations. Present the status of the products broadly across the organization while exhibiting command of the details. Manage and deliver results against a set of performance metrics reviewed with Axon's Executive Team on a monthly basis. What You Bring Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years relevant Software Product Management experience ideally shipping complex, multi product/system solutions. Experience solving complex user interaction problems with creative solutions. Experience conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative market and product research. Success influencing and leading engineering and design teams as well as partnering with cross functional leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment of consistent growth. Direct experience working with engineers to balance scope, time to market, and functionality, constantly making trade-offs using qualitative, quantitative, and absent data. Excellent problem solving skills, well-structured written and verbal communication. You have a proven track record of delivering successful products that achieve key business outcomes. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when necessary (15%). Strong leadership presence and ability to question and challenge the status quo at all levels of the organization. Experience in API, 3P ecosystem or connected hardware product is a plus. Salary Range: $100K -- $150K Minimum Qualification Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
