Senior Software Engineer I (Real Time Operation)

Axon is on a mission to Protect Life and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be involved in architecture decisions, work on high availability cloud services, and mentor other engineers.

Skills

Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
Backend service experience in multiple managed languages
Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores
Java, Golang, or Scala programming experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead engineering architecture design reviews
Mentoring engineers
Working with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create integrated solutions
Improving Engineering process
Building services with high availability and latency requirements
Working with the latest open source technologies

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
