Sr. Database Reliability Engineer II

Axon is on a mission to protect life through innovative technology, seeking a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to solve complex cloud challenges for a safer future.

Skills

Professional software development experience
Experience with microservices and cloud services
In-depth knowledge of relational and noSQL databases
Familiarity with queueing solutions and IaC platforms

Responsibilities

Lead coding, configuration management, and code reviews
Optimize datastores and standardize Axon's datastore platform
Build an automated k8s-based platform for datastore technology management
Facilitate application design related to datastore usage
Troubleshoot and suggest optimizations for datastore utilization

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Master's degree is a plus
