Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%
These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This Job
We are on the lookout for a passionate, energetic and forward-thinking VP of Lifecycle Marketing & Demand Generation to redesign our end-to-end customer experience with a spotlight on Activation & Retention, Monetization & Anti-churn, and Mobile app banking and adoption. This pivotal role plays a crucial role in steering Axos through significant growth and innovation phases, utilizing marketing automation, data, and personalization to create impactful customer journeys.
Responsibilities
• Omnichannel and Channel Leadership: Command the lifecycle marketing strategy, focusing on customer engagement and retention, and reactivation/ anti-churn across B2C/DTC and B2B segments. Develop and oversee comprehensive channel strategies to optimize the customer journey. For B2B, implement Account Based Marketing, sales enablement, and pipeline strategies to enhance B2B engagement and conversion, ensuring a seamless alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives
• Data-Driven Personalization: Utilize data analytics and marketing automation for personalized customer experiences at scale, refining the customer lifecycle for improved engagement, conversion, and loyalty
• Demand Generation & Content Marketing: Create compelling demand generation and content marketing strategies that attract, engage, and convert, driving growth and customer loyalty/ advocacy
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting on customer journeys, marketing automation campaigns, and email/messaging campaigns, analyzing performance against business outcomes. Must possess a numbers-driven mentality with a focus on conversion optimization and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a growth catalyst by encouraging collaboration across product and marketing teams, ensuring unified goals, strategies, and execution plans for mobile banking solutions and more
• Innovation & Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements, leveraging insights to keep Axos at the forefront of the market
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or related discipline
• 10+ years' marketing with significant focus on lifecycle market automation, channel strategy (email, messaging (SMS, Push etc) print-on-demand, chatbot), data analytics, personalization, ABM, and demand generation across B2C/DTC and B2B environments
• Technical Proficiency: Tech-savvy with hands-on experience in CRM, Marketing Automation platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Analytics, Personalization, and other MarTech tools. Experience with Salesforce (Sales, Service & Marketing Cloud) is a great asset
• Analytical Prowess: Outstanding analytical abilities, with a knack for turning data insights into actionable marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and retention, and business outcomes
• Email & Marketing Automation Metrics: Deep knowledge of marketing automation and email marketing metrics, including deliverability, engagement rates, and conversion optimization
• Customer Experience Design & Journey Mapping Skills: Experience in designing customer journeys and scenarios across channels and transactions
• Passion & Drive: High-energy, passionate, and possesses a can-do, no-excuse attitude, inspiring teams towards achieving marketing excellence
• Stellar Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate, articulate and execute complex strategies, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams and with executive leadership
Preferred:
• Industry Experience : Banking/ Finance/ FinServe/ FinTech background
