About the Role
As a Product Designer at SingleFile, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our product experiences by crafting intuitive, effective designs that simplify complex workflows. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional team members to design intuitive, efficient, and impactful user experiences. You will focus on understanding our users—law firms, corporations, and compliance professionals—and creating solutions that simplify their complex and often manual workflows. This is a remote role within a distributed team, ideal for a designer who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is committed to user-centered design, and values iterative, solution-focused work that delivers exceptional user experiences.What you'll be working on:User-Centric Design: Lead the design process with a focus on understanding user needs and creating customer-centric solutions that align with SingleFile's mission to simplify legal compliance tasks.Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Create rough sketches, low-fidelity wireframes, and prototypes to explore solutions and validate concepts early in the design process. Refine ideas through feedback and collaboration, adhering to an iterative design approach that minimizes over-polishing in early stages.UI/UX Design: Create intuitive and scalable design solutions for complex workflows, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Ensure designs are clean, functional, and focused on the needs of B2B customers.Customer Research & Insights: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and tests to gather insights on customer pain points and needs. Translate findings into actionable design improvements that enhance usability and deliver clear, effective user experiences.Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and the Chief Product Officer to translate the product vision into engaging, efficient user experiences. Collaborate in agile, iterative sprints, continuously improving based on feedback and testing.Remote Team Engagement: Actively participate in remote team meetings, design reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment across product and engineering teams.Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability testing and gather quantitative and qualitative feedback. Use data and insights to iterate on designs and ensure the product remains aligned with user needs and business goals.This Job Might Be for You if You Have:3 - 5 years experience in B2B SaaS Design: Designing for B2B SaaS products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design solutions for complex, data-heavy applications.Customer-Centric Mindset: A passion for understanding users, with experience in conducting customer research and translating findings into actionable design insights. You're highly empathetic and skilled at putting yourself in the user's shoes.Strong UI/UX Skills: Expertise in user interface design, information architecture, and UX principles with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready assets.
