The Role
Azul is in search of a passionate digital marketing leader to drive our global campaign strategy who can personally execute cross-channel campaigns for Azul’s key products. As a lean team, this role holds significant influence, focusing on both strategy and hands-on execution within the Azul Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing, you will serve as the primary owner of the global campaign strategy, integrated planning and execution of campaigns, and aligning campaign assets and content to the buyer’s journey across multiple products including the cross-sell and up-sell paths to grow the sales funnel. This senior-level role demands a unique blend of strategic thinking, hands-on tactical execution, analytical acumen, and creative flair to scale our marketing efforts effectively while constantly innovating and iterating on the campaigns to maximize growth.
The Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive global campaign strategy for Azul’s products and solutions that is focused on driving lead acquisition through the funnel to revenue growth, while being hands on and managing the tactical implementation and go-to market motions.
- Effectively partner and collaborate across organizational lines and with key stakeholders to create and optimize the customer journey framework that aligns to the company’s pipeline and revenue goals. Define the campaign goals and objectives, the buyer personas and buying committee members, their goals and challenges, and define messaging and solutions that optimally position Azul’s products around the buying journeys.
- Actively partner and collaborate with cross-functional partners including public relations, product marketing, digital marketing and field marketing teams to ensure a consistent message and focus across all campaign touch points in service to driving pipeline and product-led growth.
- Plan and manage complex and successful projects; understanding available resources, develop delivery timelines, budget and assign areas of responsibility, and performance measurement frameworks, while accounting for upstream and downstream dependencies.
- Translate the integrated campaigns strategy into funnel-focused marketing programs to acquire and engage new prospects.
- Define, execute, and measure both the campaign and the integrated marketing plan to ensure lead generation activities that target the entire funnel to fuel pipeline growth. Focus on the buyer’s journey to produce leads into the pipeline, but also tracking through to revenue for the business.
- Enable Azul’s sales and marketing teams with standardized campaign assets (campaign in a box, etc.) to drive consistent messaging globally.
- Support scaling existing channels and identify development of new opportunities for growth.
- Define and develop the measurement strategy and approach, continuously monitor KPIs, and leverage the data to assess performance of individual tactics and activities.
- Create and deliver reports to show learnings and socialize the results to drive continuous improvement and testing.
- Lead communications to multiple executive team and stakeholder groups at the global and regional levels to provide visibility and insights on performance to ensure an on-going feedback loop is in place to identify challenge and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute, as required, incidental tasks that arise within the scope of this fast-paced, dynamic, and multifaceted role.
The Requirements:- Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B marketing and enterprise demand generation, preferably in an IT-focused company.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels, enabling yourself and others to do great work.
- Experience in budget management and forecasting, with a proven track record of delivering results within allocated budgets.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills with ability to present complex technical ideas in a simple, straightforward manner, including to leadership.
- Creativity and a strategic mindset with the ability to think outside the box and drive innovative campaign strategies and campaign creative to stop the scroll.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong planning, organizational skills and outside the box thinking. Ability to be a strategic player but also be gritty and into the details and tactical execution of the campaigns.
- The ideal candidate jumps on new opportunities, gets nerdy about what they do, and works fast and flexibly to get the job done. You have a roll up your sleeve’s mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in advanced B2B marketing technical platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Bizible, Unbounce, 6Sense, etc, or other similar platforms and applications.
- Although this may be a fully remote role, we will encourage in-person meetings with the marketing team and stakeholders in the San Francisco Bay Area.
