Job Description
Responsibilities
-
Responsible for the safe operation, inspection, and daily preventative maintenance of all required material handling equipment.

Ensure inventory accuracy of all inventory movements made by the Associate.
-
Responsible for complete and accurate update of material movement documentation.
-
Must accurately determine and transact required material movement information. Must proficiently perform the required SAP transactions related to the job assignment.

Conduct cycle count inventory as required to ensure that inventory goals are met.
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete 5S duties.
-
Responsible for accuracy for all material movement, SAP transactions, and reconciliation.
-
Interface with other Material Handlers in other work areas (e.g. Finishing, Warehouse, etc.) when facilitating the movement and reconciliation of materials and products.
-
Place orders for parts or supplies through appropriate resource (the tool crib, warehouse, etc.).
-
Pick-up, confirm, and deliver/store incoming materials in designated location.
-
May be required to support multiple areas and participate in a rotation schedule.

Serve as a backfill for the Production Coordinator, as well as a potential backfill for Shipping (SO)/Receiving Operator (RO).

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Must have working knowledge of scheduling and inventory system, prior experience with SAP is preferred

Exposure to Mini Team experience
-
Must have basic computer knowledge and math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide)
-
Will be required to be certified in up to 4 work stations; forklift certification is preferred.

Must obtain tow motor license within 3-4 months
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all personnel
-
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions

Ability to work with little/limited supervision
-
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 45 pounds
