We are looking for detail oriented, innovative and hard-working team players who are driven to do their best and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our military and government customer.In this role you will:• Perform a variety of duties in the warehouse based upon a storage plan, processes & procedures;• Verify material against receiving documentation, inspect material for damages, route material to correct storage locations, store, stack and palletizing material as required, rearrange and take inventory of stored material, and issue material and prepare it for shipment;• Input & reconcile information into various inventory management systems;• Operate hand tools in performance of warehousing duties;• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment• Other duties assignedThe hourly rate for this position is set by the Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $21.90/hr.This position is located in San Diego. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to San Diego or surrounding areas.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School diploma and 1-3 years of warehouse experienceAbility to train on and be certified to operate a forkliftAbility to frequently lift between 10-50 lbsAbility to climb laddersAbility to be attentive to detail in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work in a teamPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience in MICS, DPAS or other information systemsPay InformationThis position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA).
