Job Summary: The Category Manager for Bakery and Coffee Shop is responsible for the product assortment, vendor management, pricing, all category management, sales planning, and department profitability. In partnership with the SDT is responsible for the leadership of the Bakery and Coffee Shop team members, including training on dept profitability and all aspects of Bakery and Coffee Shop standard operating procedures.
You will:

- Provide up-to-date, complete, clear, and timely information to store operations and all PMG team members.
- Be a leader and role model to your fellow Team Members by setting the standard for everything you do and striving constantly to do it better.
- Partner with store operations and help and feedback to inspire continuous improvement in team member and customer experience, workflow, service, and quality
- Assist with training department managers and assistants on beverage and bakery standard operating procedures.
- Lead the Bakery and Coffee Shop team members in actively working to reach our company profitability goals.
- Continuously cultivate your own curiosity and knowledge of products through bakery cuttings, training, including bakery plant visits, and of coffee through in-house tastings, cuppings, and trainings.
- Always work to create, source, and bring to market great tasting beverages and food
- Partner with the Food and Beverage Specialist to oversee all coffee training for SDT and all department team members.

You have:
- Supervised a production bakery for 2+ years
- Baking and decorating experience
- A good eye – and the ability to create beautiful product displays and train team members to do the same, and to understand the principles of merchandising aesthetics
- Basic math and computer skills
- A love of coffee

Wage/salary range: $82,000 - $98,000
