Accountable for the development, production and distribution of reports to communicate actual results with variance analysis to executive management and functional leads. Responsible for identifying, managing and implementing process improvement opportunities within the corporate planning, reporting and analysis functions. Oversees the Corporate SG&A FP&A team providing direction and oversight for all planning, reporting and analysis responsibilities.What you will be responsible for:• Supervises and manages the performance and development of Corporate SG&A team.• Develop and translate Corporate SG&A strategy into objectives, goals, and process framework.• Prepares, monitors, and maintains procedures and guidelines for the SG&A strategy for budgeting and forecasting; reporting & analysis.• Works independently while managing multiple priorities in a global environment; interacting with and influencing business partners at all levels of the organization.• Leads the coordination of the annual operating plan and quarterly reforecast process for all corporate business partners to include departments within Ball Corporate Headquarters, Global Shared Services (GSS) and Global Information Technology (IT).• Leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process by developing, maintaining, and distributing the managerial reports to the Executive Leadership team, Functional Executive sponsors, and department heads.• Leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis process of the financial performance of all corporate, GBS, and IT department owners to develop rational explanations and actionable analysis.• Leads the continuous improvement and business excellence workstreams by identifying, assessing, and implementing improvements to the organization’s planning, reporting, and analysis processes and ensures consistent application among all business partners.• Provides guidance and support to corporate business partners for financial planning, capital planning, and analysis.• Develops and maintains all applicable processes required for use of financial systems by corporate department owners, including all training and support required to complete established requirements.• Oversees quarterly and annual reporting for consolidated capital planning• Oversees the Hyperion Integrated Planning system by managing the development and implementation of incremental system integrations, system enhancements and standardized planning methodology across Corporate and regional business units.• Serves as a business partner in cross-functional environments to support departmental and divisional needs in relations to reporting, planning, and analysis.• Acts as an integral part of Financial Planning and Analysis team by driving process improvements through leveraging of systems and standardization of processes and reporting to deliver timely, accurate, and forecasted results to all levels of Ball management team.• Prepares financial models and ad-hoc analysis as requested to analyze financial information related to planning, actual results or projects• Acts as a project manager for various process improvement or financial system upgrade projects as neededWhat are we looking for?• Broad training in a related professional field acquired through BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration• 7+ Years experience in in job related field.• Experience should be in accounting or finance-related field• Ability to apply standard evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard accounting techniques, procedures, and criteria.• Ability to promote and demonstrate leadership qualities and values.• Advanced analytical ability, including comprehension of financial performance results and associated evaluation of drivers affecting results.• Comprehensive understanding of a broad range of financial and accounting systems and reporting systems (including ERP), and demonstrated ability to use such systems for inquiry and analysis purposes.• Proficient in Hyperion Financial tools (HFM, Essbase, Planning, etc.), MS Excel, Word, PowerPointWorking knowledge of the following areas:• Business and economic principles and practices• Generally accepted managerial practices and proceduresCompensation & Benefits:• Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
