This role will be in addition to our incredible sales leadership team. This outbound function is a newer muscle for BambooHR, making this an exciting role for someone with experience and passion for building and scaling teams for long-term success. As a Sales Director, you will lead your team of sales managers to reach monthly sales goals and maximize their sales potential. You will coach and train your sales managers and their teams as they grow here. We have an exceptional training program that all our sales team goes through in their first few weeks of getting hired. In addition, you’ll work with the rest of the leadership team on operational projects, strategic plans, and overall department growth.You will:• Lead, develop, and manage a group of Outbound Sales Managers and their teams of Account Executives in the small to medium-sized market.• Design and implement sales forecasting plans for Managers and Account Executives to meet and exceed revenue goals on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.• Partner and build relationships with cross-functional teams across the organization to streamline communication and drive results (Marketing, Rev Ops, Sales Enablement, Sales Development, etc.).• Train and mentor Sales Managers to become better leaders by coaching them to support their career development.• Collaborate with other directors and teams to share innovation and best practices.• Act as the sales champion by supporting team members with larger deals and providing a second voice to help close deals.• Collaborate with Sales Managers to train and motivate team members by analyzing various data points to determine opportunities for development.• Manage headcount through team structures, understanding capacity, and planning with HR for future headcount needs.• Take ownership of the culture (as measured by ENPS) and build strong relationships with managers and reps to enhance team morale.• Prevent, manage, and own team attrition, HR escalations, and performance improvement plans.What We’ll Love About You• 3-5+ years of SaaS sales experience within an outbound or mid-funnel motion with a proven track record of success.• 2-3+ years managing sales leadership as a second-line leader in the SaaS industry.• SMB SaaS sales experience is preferred.• Experience in building, defining, and establishing sales cycles and frameworks at scale.• Deep Salesforce knowledge and experience required.• Demonstrated experience in building motivating sales teams, analyzing sales trends, and monitoring performance to hit revenue targets.• Demonstrated experience as a team-building leader, capable of rallying support from both direct and indirect staff.• Ability to paint a vision and get buy-in through collaboration and mentorship/coaching skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Highly driven, proactive individual with an execution focus and strong sense of urgency.• Expert knowledge in various solution-selling methodologies with a proven track record in the SMB SaaS industry.What Will Make Us REALLY Love You• You thrive under the responsibility to train, motivate, inspire, and hold others accountable.• You maintain a balance of being a true team player as well as having a competitive edge.• You have a positive attitude, are coachable, and have proven ability to take and implement feedback.• You have the ability to engage and communicate with reps in a positive and approachable way.• You effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.• You provide constructive feedback while recognizing the positives and potential in people.• You can work in ambiguous situations.What You'll Love About Us• Great Company Culture.
