When it comes to caring for people, we’re all in.Description:To perform quality assurance reviews for all Patient Access departments within Baptist Health South Florida following HIPAA, AHCA, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines and to assist with coordinating the acquisition and dissemination of data related to Patient Access to maximize reimbursement. Estimated pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.25 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications:Degrees:• Associates.Licenses & Certifications:• NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate.Additional Qualifications:• HS Diploma or equivalent.• One to two years experience in a health care environment with extensive knowledge of the revenue cycle (Patient Access, Case Mgmt, HIPAA, AHCA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Patient Finance, HIM, etc.• ) workflow processes with emphasis in Patient Access.• Certification preferred in Healthcare Financial Mgmt Association (HFMA),Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), must obtain within one year.• Experience & knowledge of PC applications, including Office 365, Microsoft Office products MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, etc.• Must be very detail oriented, self-motivated & have excellent organizational & interpersonal communication skills.• Highly organized & able to effectively maintain multiple initiatives while driving sustainable operational changes.• Demonstrate flexibility to perform other tasks as needed in an active work environment with changing work needs.• Fosters & exemplifies high ethical standards & strategic practices to enhance the success of the organization.• Ability to quickly learn & adapt to new technologies & software tools.• High level of attention to detail.• Self-motivation with an ability to work effectively within a team environment.• Strong interpersonal skills in both customer & team interactions.• Ability to comprehend complex technical topics & specialized information.Minimum Required Experience:EOE, including disability/vets
