Responsibilities includes working with designers, business stake holders and development teams to build and enhance mobile APP products for our Ecommerce needs. Employee is eligible to participate in additional benefits which includes Disability, Life Insurance, Transit, Tuition ReimbursementWhatYouDo:• Manage existing mobile apps, and develop new features bases on strategic priorities, industry experience, customer feedback, and marketplace research/trends/analytics. Ensure products are delivered on schedule and with high quality results.• Develop new user-facing features using REACT Native and develop APPS for iOS and Android platforms.• Technical owner of E-commerce APPS, review requirements, design, code review and implement REACT based functionality to our existing commerce APPS.• Analyze product performance and customer feedback post-launch, and respond quickly to diagnose and correct any problems, and continuous iterate on feature and functional enhancements.• Work with onshore and offshore development teams to integrate, consume and advise on development of new global APIs in order to deliver new features.• Conduct competitive analysis for mobile apps – (features, experience, technology).• Develop performance metrics for mobile apps and report dashboards to the management team.Knowledge&Experience:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.• 5+ years software development.• 2+ years of experience in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, Vue.js, REACT, Agular.JS• 1+ years iOS and Android development• Fully experience in development and distribution of mobile applications (iOS and Android)• Expertise on leveraging Apple and Google development portals to support the SDLC process for mobile Apps.• Web technologies: Responsive Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON• Web services: REST and SOAP implemented using NodeJS and Express• Full stack developer with knowledge and understating of relational and non-relationship databases• Front End: REACT, Vue.JS, Angular technologies• Experience native app development which includes iOS (Objective-C/Swift), Android• Flexible team player, ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities• Demonstrate portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market• Use and adapt existing web applications for app functionality and design• Ability to mentor and lead Junior team members in order to deliver quality code.EeoStatement: Barnes & Noble is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
