We are a passionate team of engineers building the next generation of innovative cloud connected email security appliances. We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our cross functional Agile team.
As a SDET you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge on-premises appliance based and cloud-based email security products. You will be working closely with product managers, customers, and developers to design, develop, test, and deliver new and innovative features in a continuous delivery model. Tech Stack
- Python/ Perl
- Good Experience with both Manual and automation testing
- Good Experience with SQL based RDBMS (MySQL)
- CI/CD Pipeline: Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions
- Basic Networking knowledge SMTP, DNS, and networking protocols.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with email and Authentication technologies like SMTP, POP, IMAP, LDAP, Microsoft 365)
- Selenium WebDriver / mabl / Playwright / Cypress
- Security Domain Knowledge/Experience preferably email security
- Strong practical Linux usage and bash scripting skills
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems like JIRA for defect logging and tracking.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML is a plus.
What you will be working on
- Able to build manual and automated test plans from business requirements
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks to capture Functional and Non-Functional use cases.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases
- Identify, document defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Able to write code and modify existing automation framework.
- Assist junior team members
- Lead troubleshooting of issues in QA environment
What you bring to the role
- 3+ years of experience in software development, testing, and automation
- Requires coding, and analytical skills
- Experience in a full project testing life cycle including test case creation, script development, manual and automated testing
- Experience in Relational Databases (SQL)
- Common testing practices in a highly agile project environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in manual testing & performance testing, analyzing test logs, creating test reports and keeping the manager updated on the progress on a regular basis.
- Experience with AWS including knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services is a plus
