ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the WPP Unite structure Barrows is seeking a dynamic Manager, Shopper Marketing Execution who is passionate about delivering operational excellence. The operations team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless execution of shopper marketing campaigns and studio operations. They are responsible for coordinating logistics, managing timelines, and optimizing workflows to ensure that shopper executions are delivered on time and within budget. This team collaborates closely with creative, strategy, and client services teams to align resources and streamline processes, enhancing the overall efficiency of project delivery. Additionally, they oversee studio operations, ensuring that all necessary tools and environments are in place for creative teams to thrive. The team not only supports the execution of effective marketing strategies but also fosters an environment conducive to innovation and collaboration.
 
In addition to bringing a killer attitude and energy, this individual must be able to:
  •  Oversee the day-to-day execution of shopper marketing initiatives across Unilever brands, ensuring high-quality implementation of in-store displays, activations, and tactics.
  • Collaborate with Account Management teams to manage project scopes, ensuring alignment with overall campaign goals and KPIs.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of in-store shopper marketing programs across key retail accounts, including Walmart, Target, and Kroger.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring timely production, cost efficiency, and quality control of shopper marketing materials and POP displays.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met, potential risks are identified, and programs are delivered on time.
  • Assist in the creation and management of project estimates, utilizing historical data and industry benchmarks to ensure budget accuracy.
  • Implement and monitor change control processes to manage scope creep and ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Support the Director in managing budgets, conducting billing meetings, and addressing any outstanding financial issues with Client Leadership teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the in-store operations team.
  • Track and report on project performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and process improvements.

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in shopper marketing, in-store execution, or retail operations.
  • Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and executing shopper marketing campaigns in a CPG or retail environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage budgets and timelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Ability to work in the office 3 days a week

SALARY & BENEFITS

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
