Mid Backend Engineer (Mobile)

Baubap is a fast-growing fintech startup in Mexico focused on providing microloans with a vision to become the most inclusive digital bank in LATAM. They are seeking a Backend Engineer to create and maintain backend services for mobile applications.

Skills

Fluency in Spanish
Experience with API design and RESTful principles
Strong understanding of data storage technologies and cloud platforms
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and performance monitoring

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services for mobile applications
Ensure seamless integration with Android and iOS applications
Optimize backend performance and implement security measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new features and improvements
Provide troubleshooting and debugging support
