Become a maker of possible with us.Position SummaryThis COE talent is accountable for technical execution of BU and Regional HEOR plans. Leveraging their technical expertise in research methods and scientific communication, COE talent independently crafts work plans to deliver against prioritized objectives requesting additional resources and support as vital to efficiently implement projects. The COE associate will be responsible for managing HEOR Fellows and encouraging future central talent. This role may be asked to represent the function in both internal and external forums and is responsible for bringing technical advances in the field to the attention of the BD HEOR community.Job Responsibilities• Align on and deliver against central operating goals• Implement prioritized HEOR projects and deliverables including evidence generation (meta-analyses, detailed reviews, research study outcomes) and tool development (economic models, value communications).• Liaise with HEOR and marketing partners to manage roles and responsibilities and ensure project is implemented effectively.• Manage timelines to keep projects on schedule• Supervise junior HEOR associates in project execution• Provide project management support and guide internal HEOR Center of Excellence (COE) resources.• Support HEOR corporate shared service request and prioritization processes and respond to and manage global HEOR requests as assigned.• Support execution of training programs to support HEOR deliverables.• Support utilization, implementation, and evaluation of HEOR deliverables.• Consult cross-functional teams on publication planning strategies and ensure scientific data resulting from the execution of health economic/epidemiology/outcomes studies are appropriately positioned in the public domain.Qualifications and Background• Advanced degree in related field with 3+ years of experience conducting HEOR research (Related fields include: Health Services Research, Health Economics / Economics, Psychometrics, Health Policy, Outcomes Research, and Pharmacy Administration).• Has substantial technical knowledge and a full understanding of HEOR work concepts, principles and practices.• Proficiency in project management and experience independently completing HEOR tactics.• Committed, customer-focused, with effective prioritization, goal-setting and time management skills.• Effective analytical/problem solving skills, including generation of original and innovative ideas and solutions.• Medical device experience preferred.For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
