Branded Editor, Temp Part-Time

Time Commitment

~8-12 hours/week (more on designated shoot weeks)
1x Internal status call, each Monday (3:30 - 4:00 PM EST)
1x Client-facing status call, each Tuesday (2:00 - 2:30 PM EST)

Must be available to work in person on the following days:
Thurs 9/5: Fitting + Shoot (NYC)
Thurs 9/19: Fitting (NYC)
Week of 10/7: 3 Day shoot (TBD exact days, NYC)

Role runs through December 31, 2024

Responsibilities

Communicating across BDG internal teams — account management, video, design, production in Slack and on designated boards in Monday.com
Identifying seasonal trends and working closely with BDG editors and stylist on look direction for shoots
Working with BDG video and design creatives on production decks and scripting
Collaborating with BDG creative teams and stylist during fittings and on set
Assigning out and editing trend articles on Bustle, TZR, and NYLON
Working within the BDG CMS to draft, submit, and publish articles

Requirements

Excellent, clear, prompt communication skills across both internal and external teams
Experience working with freelancers (particularly writers and wardrobe stylists)
Experience and confidence in a client-facing environment
Organized and adaptable
Skilled in Google Suite (particularly building in Google Slides)
Experience working within a CMS
Excellent writing and editing skills
Client-facing on-set experience
On the pulse of current fashion trends
Understanding of the Bustle, NYLON, and TZR voices and fashion POVs

$50 - $55 an hour
