We are looking to expand our team to support our rapid growth. Our headquartered is in Paris and we also have office in Marseille, with a global and diverse team of about 30 tech, product, growth and sales experts. We pride ourselves on being a small, committed team of highly autonomous individuals. We value excellence, hard work and autonomy.

Beavr is looking for a talented Sustainability Enablement Expert who will play a pivotal role in building and improving our expertise sustainability topics and in making sure that this expertise reaches our clients. You will join the expertise team, working closely with Will Hepworth and Aruni PimparĆ©. We allow occasional remote work; however, the team is recruiting in Paris. Therefore, it is important for the person to be located in the Ǝle-de-France region.

At its core, Beavr provides the tool and expertise to empower its customer in their sustainability journey. Integrating deep CSR and sustainability expertise in our product in a precise yet easy-to-use and approchable (for non-experts, our customers) way is a key part of our value proposition and differentiation vs. the competition.

Sustainability enablement experts are the craftspersons who make that possible. From thought leadership to team enablement, from product expertise improvement to client success, this role aims at building our internal capabilities on strategic sustainability topics and ensure they infuse throughout the organization up to their final recipients: our clients.

Role

As a sustainability enablement expert, you play a pivotal role in building and improving our expertise sustainability topics and in making sure that this expertise reaches our clients. You will achieve this by actively contributing to and updating the expertise embedded in the product, building templates and tools for our clients to use, enable client-facing teams and acting as 2nd-level support to ensure no client question regarding sustainability topics is left unanswered.

Primary objectives

Your primary objective will be to build strong expertise on new sustainability frameworks integrated and offered by Beavr and to ensure all is set for clients to meet success on those frameworks.. In more details, this includes:

Contributing to the definition of our expertise roadmap on developing thought leadership on selected topics

  • Regulatory and expertise watch: staying up to date on sustainability frameworks development

  • Providing inputs to inform the definition of our expertise roadmap

  • Providing inputs to inform the definition of the expertise delivery plan (in particular sustainability training plans)

  • Creating high quality content such as memos, guides, white papers, training materials or other assets breaking down complex topics (sustainability, regulation, reporting) into easy-to-digest guidance that Beavr teams can leverage and use

Contributing to product development and improvement

  • Providing expert inputs to inform our product development roadmap and the scoping / building of new features

  • Enriching the expertise provided to our clients through the Beavr platform by maintaining and improving our Content Management System: this includes updating KPIs based on frameworks chosen, improving the clarity of descriptions, building new templates and making them accessible

Client-facing teams enablement and client support

  • Working together with Customer Success Operations to implement key changes to processes, tools + build CS enablement programs based on expertise built

  • Upskilling teams (and in particular Customer Success teams) on sustainability topics to ensure they can provide relevant advice and expertise to our prospects and clients

  • Supporting Customer Success teams to support them on the spot

  • Providing level 2 support to clients in case of complex questions on sustainability topics

  • Holding regular 1-many webinars / external training on sustainability topics for our clients

Secondary objectives

  • Owning Beavrā€™s own sustainability strategy and roadmap

  • Supporting Partnerships team with their operations (webinars organized for partners, training programs)

  • Supporting Marketing team with their operations (providing inputs for articles and guides, reviewing articles, participating to marketing webinars)

Qualifications

  • You are a genuine sustainability enthusiast and practitioner. You demonstrated a passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of global ESG and regulation issues (not just sustainability), not just academically but primarily through relevant work experiences.

  • You have deep knowledge of multiple sustainability among CSRD, CDP, SBTi, SBTn TCFD and TNFD

  • You are are a climate expert. Youā€™ve already conducted carbon footprint assessments, defined carbon reduction action plans and trajectories, set science-based targets, conducted climat risk assessments and built climate adaptation scenarios.

  • You have a synthetic mindset. You strive with complexity and like nothing more than spending hours trying to make sense of 200-pages sustainability document and turning it into easy and accessible materials and explanations.

  • Your are output-oriented and super hands-on, you really enjoy getting things done and are not afraid to get your hands dirty for that.

  • You are autonomous and accountable in the way you work. You donā€™t need somebody to supervise your work and drive topics with confidence and ownership.

Bonus

  • You have an academic background in sustainability or environmental studies

  • You have strong Excel / Powerpoint / writing skills (those will come in handy for expertise formalization and tools building!)

  • You have strong oral presentation skills, and a reassuring vibe when you talk about expertise topics šŸ™‚

  • You speak other languages beyond French and English
