QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

· Bachelor's degree in education or subject-related field

· BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Certification

· Minimum of three (3) years of working with children with emotional or behavioral needs experience

Preferred

· Master's degree in education or subject-related

· Valid Texas Teachers Certification

· Minimum of three (3) years of special education classroom experience

Special Knowledge & Skills

· Knowledge of specific ABA strategies and interventions for working students with autism and other developmental disabilities and behavior strategies

· Knowledge of proper ABA assessment protocols for evaluation and data collection

· Understanding of how to provide services for students in alignment with student's individualized education programs

· Strong organizational skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of professional development presentations
