Senior Frontend Developer 12 Months Contract

As a Senior Frontend Developer you will help us shape, develop and implement digital solutions in Product Supply, ultimately addressing some of the biggest business opportunities.

Additionally, your day-to-day responsibilities are to:

• Develop complete features in React.js
• Build quality software that is intuitive, testable, and maintainable
• Refactor the codebase to improve quality or match changing requirements
• Provide clear and constructive comments for code reviews
• Lead the conversation in our SCRUM ceremonies within your domain
• Advise and consult UX/UI Designers and product owner on upcoming feature

You will join an established cross-functional scrum team (Product Owner, UX/UI Designer, OR, Frontend, Backend, and Data Engineers, and Scrum Master). The team delivers solutions to our Product Supply area, specializing in optimizing the Capacity of production sites, QA, QC and other departments in need of workforce planning. We do this using a tech stack consisting of Amazon PaaS services, supporting a RESTful API written in Python, with a front-end web application using React.js.

Which competencies to bring?

As an ideal candidate we expect you hold a BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar related fields and you are able to tick most of the following boxes:

• 6+ years of work experience in software development, expert knowledge of using React.js
• Competence in JavaScript, Typescript, SCSS and Tailwind CSS
• Previous experience in with complex RESTful API integrations, as well as strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Deep knowledge of domain driven design patterns and coding best practices
• Familiarity with doing end to end testing with for instance Playwright.
