Software Developer

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our dynamic team in NYC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, C++, and/or Java programming languages, with a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience. 

As a Software Developer, you will work closely with our Quant Researchers and Portfolio Managers to design, develop, and implement trading strategies. Your primary focus will be on implementing high-quality, scalable, and innovative software solutions that align with the needs of our proprietary trading strategies.   

• Responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of high-performance software systems 
• Build modern, high-quality software using the .NET framework 
• Work with traders, researchers, and portfolio managers to solve complex problems 
• Participate in strategic planning to anticipate future business and technology needs

• A bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field Proven experience as a C#, C++, or Java developer 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming Familiar with various design and architectural patterns 
• Entrepreneurial attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement iterative improvements to large-scale, high-performance, multithreaded systems.  
• Clear and efficient communication skills in a professional and collaborative setting 

• Familiarity with the .NET framework Complementary programming skills in Python, SQL, Matlab, R 
• Strong quantitative skills, including high mathematical aptitude and experience with Excel and data analytics 
• Experience in a profitable algorithmic trading group 
• Knowledge of financial markets, derivatives products, and trading strategies

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000-200,000. Additionally, certain positions at Belvedere Trading are eligible for discretionary bonuses. Our employees have access to a variety of benefits, which can be found on our website here.
