nCino is an innovative software company that is searching for an energetic, customer service focused, HR superstar who wants to gain a breadth of experience assisting with the coordination of the global benefits program of an established public company while also applying creativity to employee engagement and wellness programs. The Benefits Coordinator position assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, verifies all insurance billing, maintains employee database and files, and ensures compliance with required benefit notices. This position will be part of a cohesive team, working together to meet the demanding needs of the organization. Responsibilities

Administer and support various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, retirement, leave coordination and wellness benefits.

Conduct US benefits orientation and enrollment/onboarding for new hires, act as backup for international onboarding.

Ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.

Serve as primary point of contact for domestic and international employee benefits as well as a liaison between employees, company, and vendors/brokers

Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs. Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.

Process benefit related notifications and transactions related to continuation of coverage program (COBRA)

Assist Global Benefits Manager in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company.

May lead research initiatives for international voluntary and/or statutory benefits

Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.

Apply creativity as part of a team that will help build employee engagement initiatives such as wellness programs, benefit program education, and recognition.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education, experience and superior performance
-
Understanding of general Human Resources practices, benefit programs and relevant labor laws and regulations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high focus on gold standard customer service

Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
-
Takes initiative in problem solving, data analytics and process improvement

Demonstrates a strong team focus and willingness to collaborate, contribute and take on responsibilities to drive team success

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, particularly Excel

Proficient with data entry

Experience working within an HRIS
Preferred Qualifications:

1+ Year(s) Experience in an internship/role providing general HR/benefits support
